Through circulation, we explored how to connect the three levels to provide flexible spaces and a sense of community. This vertical relationship with the space not only acts as a mode of circulation, but it creates room for programming as well. This is shown through our extension mezzanine level, where the staircase connects both the first and second level to this added portion. The mezzanine includes a multi-purpose space and a built in bench seating area, both used for many activities. The seating area is an extra space to lounge and chat. The multi-purpose space includes activities such as arts and crafts, individual/collaborative workspaces, and so much more.
