Solitude House
228 Crawford laneway is a living, working and resting space, which serves as a multifunctional housing unit to the main house family. The expected inhabitants Iris the mother, and James her son, require a space where they both can grow in harmony with one another. Both are engulfed by their own passions and seek solitude when home. The home features 2 living quarters in the basement and top floor that both contain a bedroom, bathroom, and studio/working space. Whereas the main floor containing the living room and kitchen, acts as a space for socialization and nourishment. Thus the inhabitants and their kindred can connect without their individual quarters being encroached.
