The Cat Bookhouse

431 Ossington Avenue’s proposed laneway house is located in the Trinity Bellwoods neighbourhood and customized to merge the clients’ two loves: cats and books. The highlight of the interior is a two-story cat climbing wall that begins in the living room and continues to the second-story reading room. The interior features catwalks and holes, ramps, protruding ledges, and nooks that double as bookshelves, allowing the cats to take advantage of the full height of the house while creating a space where they can interact with their owners.
