Musgum Dwellings

In these five models, the Indigenous Musgum dwellings of Cameroon are explored through different concepts, materials, and scales. Through sight-line, poché, parti, circulation, and detail, (and materials such as clay, wire, acrylic, and wood) these traditional huts are not just represented but reimagined. Naturality and curvature emerge as essential elements and influence the relationships of public/private and interior/exterior within their community.
