Your Eyes are Telling Lies
Depth is created in the “scene” through the uniform placement of clear acrylic slats from each other. The illusion of space is introduced through the rasterization of a “room” onto the acrylic slats. The size of the room fluctuates based on the angle of view. The illusion of a “void” is incorporated into the “scene” through the addition of fluctuating circles rastered onto the slats. The main element of this project is the physical model.
