My rendering depicts a central focal point, the staircase, and how it is a critical component for circulation in the Vertical Glass House. The lighting, position of steel doors, depth, and rule of thirds create a point of convergence at this spiral staircase. I want to convey an unsettling atmosphere, layered with a feeling of mystery of what is above. The composition guides one's eyes up in anticipation of what the other floor might look like. The human acts as the eyes of someone looking into the space as the person travels up the stairs, eager to see what's above.
