PLEAT, named after the shadows it casts, embraces a minimal design approach to create the maximum effect. When off, the user is faced with a simple circle that blends into the wall behind. Once illuminated the object's grand lighting effect acts in juxtaposition to its minimal form. Simple joinery construction only furthers the design ethos of doing very little and saying a lot.
