My proposal takes the Haven Motel in Fort Erie and converts it into a more apartment style motel suite that is built for long-term living. When working with a small space utilizing the verticality is key to having comfort and movement. This was the key force driving this project, by using loft and bunk beds and using partition walls to try and give people their own space and privacy. Another important feature unique to my smaller rooms is the "Swiss army knife" piece with, clothing storage, display, a TV unit, and cooking space all built into one piece.
