The transformation of the former rubber factory into a mixed-use building that contains the ImagineNATIVE Screening Center is located on 1655 Dupont Street. ImagineNATIVE, the world’s largest presenter of Indigenous screen content. This project is focusing on achieving the flexibility, functionality, and affordability of the space by operating the curtain system. The enclosed curtain areas are screening rooms with pulldown screens. Various art pieces can be displayed along the east side of the interior. The entire space operates primarily as a screening center but also has the flexibility to be adjusted according to the actual needs by storing the curtains.
