Linear Literature

LINEAR LITERATURE, a commercial re-use project, reimagines a vacant 100 year old building in Fort Erie, Ontario as a modern bookstore. The interior emphasizes the use of linear connections, utilizing the alignment of objects with the existing column structure, separating the public space into two zones, shopping/browsing and intimate reading/customer service. The space redesign aims to enable movement between the tenant and visitors in the space, and create an environment which fosters positive connections between people, literature, and Fort Erie.
