Circulation Around the House in Cap Ferret

The House in Lège-Cap Ferret by Lacaton and Vassal is built on a long property that connects the road and the sea. The home itself floats above the path at the highest point and is accessed by a long footpath that passes under the house from the north of the property. A set of stairs lead down to the seaside. A spiral stairway leads inside to a wide, open living space. In the back of the house, space is divided into four bedrooms and two restrooms. The building itself is enclosed using a clear acetate to reveal the interior sectioning of space.
