The Laneway Loft Suite is a modern twist on the typical industrial-style loft. Upon entry, inhabitants are greeted with natural light pouring in from the windows and skylight from all directions. One’s eye is brought upward through the double-height space, which creates a seamless flow from the ground. From the front door, inhabitants have an unobstructed view straight out to the backdoor and backyard, directly correlating the indoors and outdoors. On the second level, one can look over the glass railing and into the ground level and experience the double-height space and how it forms a connection between the two levels. Although this lot is very narrow, it is highly functional as the open concept allows for multi-purpose spaces
