Box Land

The school of interior design produces tons of material waste, which is often not recycled. Hence the lack of initiatives for the students encourages a linear mindset and waste accumulation within the school contributing to the increase of stress within the student body.
Box Land is a series of modular elements that stretch across the room to create a collaborative and communal table using "waste". The modular elements provide flexibility in ergonomics and layout pushing students in using their creativity through interaction. By creating a playful atmosphere through building from waste this project aids in decreasing stress levels in studio.
