Taking inspiration from the Zeppelin cocoon pendant light, the iteration involves a modular pendant fixture that introduces a larger scale while respecting the integrity of the original design. An issue with existing cocoon lighting is its practicality in a variety of interiors. The modular component allows the pendant to be extended in either direction to adhere to specific spaces: creating a continuous and seamless diffused lighting effect. The redesigned luminaire is intended for larger interiors like museums as it has not been widely explored with current cocoon iterations.
