The reimagined motel will evoke a sense of belonging and identity through organic forms. The inspiration is derived from the works of Jackson Pollock and my own abstract paintings; the notion of each paint stroke being equally meaningful in creating one unified piece is a strong motif that influenced the greater design. 19 rooms are uniquely envisioned to foster individuality while accommodating diverse functionalities based on the number of guests and accessibility requirements. The organic elements promote a sense of calmness and separation from the modular world, and the same sensation translates into the enclosed courtyard.
