Using the case study, Ledge House, by Desai Chia Architecture, emerges a detail model of a corner in one guest room. Though the interior seems clean, crisp, and minimal, a small lip protrudes out of the walls when taking a closer look. It acts as a division between wall and ceiling and aligns with the seam of the roof and exterior walls. This instance creates a slight awkward juxtaposition to the smooth white walls that line all interior spaces. It conceals the roofing construction and builds a slightly off appearance leaving one wondering its detailed purpose within the design.
