Chinatown Community Co-Design: Imagining an Anti-Displacement Garden with Augmented Reality (AR)
Chinatown Community Co-Design: Imagining an Anti-Displacement Garden with Augmented Reality (AR) is a proposed co-design workshop for the Planting Imagination research project. Community members engage in augmented reality technology and image production to imagine change for the Cecil Community Centre Garden. The workshop reverses 'normative' power structures in design processes, championing community input and positioning locals in a place of agency over their built environment. This proposal contributes to broader project goals of stewardship, legacy building and anti-displacement. For more details, visit: https://www.plantingimagination.com/
